Theatre & Dance Summer Academy Classes

Super Hero Stage Combat:
June 19-23: 9:00am – 12:00 pm
Ever wondered what it would be like to be Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America in your own comic book movie? Find your own unique and powerful superpowers! This class focuses on teaching unarmed and found- object stage combat techniques and most importantly, super-power reactions. Students get to create their own comic-book caper and costume in 5 days! Super Hero Stage Combat is designed for Elementary & Middle School students.

Jedi Training Camp:
June 19-23: 1:00-4:00 pm
Find your inner Skywalker with Jedi Training class! This class will look at both Eastern and Western sword and quarterstaff techniques through the lens of the Star Wars universe and the way of the Jedi. Students will create their own Jedi or Sith profile, and together with their cohorts will devise a performance battle utilizing state of the art ultrasabres, all in 5 days. Jedi Training Camp is designed for Middle and High School students.
