Purpose of Organization: |
The purpose of the Association of Black Collegians is to develop awareness and promote unity of the Black student body by: enhancing the scholastic achievement of our members, coordinating social and civic functions for the students within the community and on campus, acting as a liaison between administration, faculty, student government, and the Black student population. |
Election Information: |
Officers shall be elected the twelfth week of the spring semester (April), with the office being effective the first week of the following semester (August). |
Meeting Information: |
Executive Board members shall meet the first and second Sunday of each month. The rest of the members will the second and third Sunday of each month. |
Membership: |
A. Interested participants can join our organization by attending meetings regularly and paying their dues.
B. Dues of 5 dollars are announced at the first meeting of each semester
a. Dues will be due to the treasure by the third meeting of the fall or spring semester
b. Dues are active for 1 semester.
