| Purpose of Organization: |
| The SSEA is a professional organization for any students of Southeast Missouri State University who are interested in social studies and social studies education. The goals of the organization include providing a professional and social network for members while obtaining degrees and continuing after degree completion. This organization will also provide an open forum for improving the social studies education program at Southeast. |

| Meetings will be held in Carnahan Hall, room 112 during common hour on the second Wednesday of every month. |
