Purpose of Organization: |
The Honor Society of Delta Tau Alpha (DTA) promotes and recognizes scholarship and leadership accomplishments of agricultural students while emphasizing character development, enhancing undergraduate preparation for professional positions, and joining with other agricultural student's organizations in the promotion of agriculture.

Election Information: |
Officer elections are held at the end of each year in the spring semester for the upcoming academic year. For vacancies, elections are as needed. |
Meeting Information: |
Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of each month during common hour. |
Membership: |
Students are eligible for membership in the National Society of Delta Tau Alpha (National Agricultural Honor Society) if they meet the following requirements: 1) Completed a minimum of nine (9) hours in agriculture courses 2) Completed at least forty-five (45) hours overall in college courses 3) Meet the minimum grade point average (must rank no lower than the highest 35% of your class in general scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University)
