Mental Health: The Importance of Self-Care

Event Description:
This seminar will describe the concept of ‘resilience’ as an essential factor for coping with the demands of college life. It will share information about the elements that comprise ‘resilience’ and suggest ways to enhance this personal asset. The seminar will also look at ‘stress’ and what can occur when stress exceeds one’s resilience and becomes overwhelming.
