Fulbright student award information session

Event Description:
Each year, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program sponsors nearly 2,000 U.S. college graduates and graduate students to teach English or conduct research around the world (http://us.fulbrightonline.org/about/fulbright-us-student-program). The Fulbright program is prestigious and well-respected, but awards are very attainable! To be eligible for a 2020--2021 award, applicants must have U.S. citizenship, and must have earned a bachelor’s degree by May 2020. The deadline to apply for 2020-2021 awards is in October. For anyone interested in learning more about these opportunities, a series of information sessions will be held in the upcoming weeks. The sessions will go into more detail about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, overseas locations, and the application process. The information sessions will: -Wednesday, August 28: 3:30 - 4:30 pm, International Village Administration Building -Tuesday, September 3, 4 – 5 pm, UC Heritage Room -Thursday, September 5: 3:30 - 4:30 pm, International Village Administration Building
