Event Description:
Take a stand by making your own protest banner or flag in this free workshop. We will help bring your ideas to life through printing letterpress and screenprint elements on repurposed fabrics. Return on day two to assemble your standard you can march beneath or wave proudly! No printing or sewing experience necessary!! Instructors will provide some fabric and print matrices to choose from, but participants are invited to bring materials and ideas to share! Some banners will be chosen to represent the project for the A Banner Day exhibition at the Lawrence Arts Center for their Print Week events! Snacks provided!
