Event Description:
James Phillips, Crisp Museums managing curator, will demonstrate the process of mixing natural local clay, as done during the prehistoric Mississippian era. Phillips will answer questions regarding incorporating grog, creating with the coil process, incorporating symbolism and firing the clay. The event is free and viewers are able to drop in during the afternoon.
