SENIORS TO READ FROM THEIR WORKS MAY 2 AS PART OF JOURNEY STUDENT READING SERIES

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo, April 25, 2003 -- The Southeast Missouri State University Department of English and Journey Literary Magazine have announced the last reading of the Journey Student Reading Series for the 2002-2003 school year.

All readers will be seniors graduating with a bachelor’s degree and will be reading their own creative works. It will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, in Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Cape Girardeau. This will be the last time that many of these students will perform a reading in this area.

The reading is open to the public and will last until 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and to wish the seniors good luck in the future.
