FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SOUTHEAST JAZZ ENSEMBLES IN CONCERT MARCH 28
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., March 14, 2003 -- The Jazz Lab Band and the Studio Jazz Ensemble at Southeast Missouri State University will present their first concert of the spring semester at 8 p.m. March 28 in the University Center Ballroom/Party Room. Both ensembles are under the direction of Barry Bernhardt, director of University Bands at Southeast. The big band music of Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich as well as some contemporary composers will be featured. The concert also will feature a guest soloist to be named at a later date. If you like Big Band Swing, you are sure to enjoy this concert.
