KRCU 90.9 FM, SAINT FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER TO HOST HEARTS & SWING DINNER DANCE

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 24, 2003 -- KRCU will host its fifth annual Hearts and Swing Dinner Dance Feb. 15 sponsored by the Women's Heart Advantage at Saint Francis Medical Center.

This year's event will be held at the A. C. Brase Arena Building in Cape Girardeau beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a social. A gourmet buffet dinner begins at 7 p.m., followed by dancing from 8 to 11 p.m. featuring the sounds of "Southeast Jazz".

KRCU began this annual tradition in 1999, drawing as many as 250 people in attendance. Guests will enjoy a gourmet buffet dinner featuring a variety of side dishes and luscious chocolate desserts from 7 to 8 p.m. "Southeast Jazz", under the direction of Barry Bernhardt, will take to the stage at 8 p.m. and provide Swing and Big Band Music featuring both new and old selections.

"Everything is taken care of for you," said General Manager Dan Woods. "We set the table, provide the music, and even clean up afterward. All that's required of our guests is that they bring their dancing shoes and have a good time with their friends."

It's a perfectly pre-arranged evening out for anybody celebrating Valentine's Day. Tickets are $35 each and must be purchased by Feb. 12. To charge by phone, call KRCU at (573) 651-5070.
