CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Nov. 8, 2002 - Southeast Missouri State University's public radio station, KRCU 90.9 FM, recently held its fall membership campaign, raising more than $30,000, and exceeding its new membership goal by bringing in 85 new members and more than 160 renewals.

The campaign began with "Cyber Days" online pledging Oct. 19-20, and continued with live, on-air pledging Oct. 21-26. This was the first year that online pledging was available, and the new option brought in 23 pledges. The online pledging program will allow pledges to be received year round.

A number of corporate sponsors also supported the effort, including Ameren UE, Bellevue Bed & Breakfast, Biokyowa, Buchheit's, Chartwell's, My Daddy's Cheesecake, Miracle Ear, Natural Health Organic Foods, Nicole's, Orthopedic Associates, Pyramid Clinical Services, Sam A.
