FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE STERRETT WINS 2002 EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Oct. 25, 2002-- The Girardot Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), a not-for-profit professional association with 40,000 members and affiliates and 700 chapters worldwide, recently announced the 2002 Executive of the Year Award. Dr. Jack Sterrett, chair of the Department of Marketing and director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Small Business Management at Southeast Missouri State University, was the recipient of this year's prestigious honor. Sterrett's administrative assistant, Marie Steinhoff, CPS, presented the award at the organization's annual Executive Recognition Banquet Oct. 15 at the Drury Lodge. B.J. Smith, head coach of the women's basketball team at Southeast, was the keynote speaker at the event.
