JOURNEY STUDENT AUTHORS TO READ FROM THEIR WORKS

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 4, 2002 -- The Journey Student Reading Series will begin this fall with three Southeast Missouri State University student authors reading from their works on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The reading will center around the theme, "Define the University and Give Three Examples" and is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. in Dempster Auditorium of Crisp Hall.

Jon Thrower of Cape Girardeau, Mackey Smith of Jackson, Mo., and Michael G. Howell of St. Peters, Mo., will read poetry and essays. The event is free and open to the public.
