FAMILY BUSINESS SEMINAR ON ESTATE PLANNING SLATED FOR OCT. 29

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Sept. 27, 2002 - A family business seminar on estate planning is scheduled for Oct. 29 at Southeast Missouri State University.

The seminar will be held from 8:45 a.m. to noon in Glenn Auditorium of Robert A. Dempster Hall.

The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Small Business Management and the Southeast Missouri University Foundation.

The half-day seminar titled "New Rules to An Old Game: Family Business and Estate Planning Under New Tax Laws," is designed specifically for family members and key employees of family businesses and their personal family business/financial advisors. Family businesses are encouraged to attend with their financial advisors as the seminar will emphasize revisions in tax laws. Certain professionals who attend may earn 3.0 Continuing Education Credits.
