SIGMA TAU GAMMA CELEBRATES GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Sept. 27, 2002 - The Alpha Phi chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma will celebrate its 50th year on the Southeast Missouri State University campus during Homecoming weekend Oct. 19-20.

The chapter was the first recognized fraternity on campus and has created a rich history for itself within the campus and Cape Girardeau communities. Alumni from all eras are invited to attend any or all of the events that the fraternity has planned.

Events planned for Saturday, Oct. 19, include viewing of the parade at the Sig Tau tent in the alumni tailgate area, attending the football game and participating in a dinner banquet at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. In addition, there will be an alumni golf tournament at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Bent Creek golf course in Jackson.
