UNIVERSITY THEATRE SPONSORS 16TH NEW YORK THEATRE TOUR

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO, Sept. 13, 2002 - The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance will sponsor the 16th New York Theatre Experience March 14-18.

Those who participate will experience the fun and excitement as they explore the rich culture of New York City with its history, the performing arts, and the magnificent sights of the "Big Apple".

This five day/four night tour, priced at only $878, will include a seminar by a leading Broadway professional, a backstage tour, a visit to the Empire State Building, tickets to a Broadway musical and a Broadway play, round trip airfare, transfers, hotel accommodations (based on quads with room supplements available), baggage portage, and plenty of time for individual shopping, sight-seeing, and optional theatre performances. Space is limited, so those interested in participating are asked to reserve their space early.

An informational and organizational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 in Grauel Building, Room 309 on the campus. The tour is open to University students, faculty, and staff as well as community members and friends.
