CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo, Aug. 16, 2002-Southeast Missouri State University Panhellenic Council, the governing body of sororities on campus, is hosting its annual Philanthropy night Aug. 23 on the Southeast campus. Chapter members and potential sorority members will gather at the University Center on the Southeast campus. They will participate in many different service projects, such as making sock puppets, creating American Pride Pins, safety booklets, and personal care bags. These items then will be donated to local charitable organizations. Philanthropy night is part of sorority recruitment week.
