GRADUATING SENIORS TO TAKE PART IN JOURNEY STUDENT READING SERIES

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 26, 2002 -- The Southeast Missouri State University Department of English and Journey literary magazine will hold their last reading of the Journey Student Reading Series for the 2001-2002 school year at 7 p.m. May 2 in Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Cape Girardeau.

All readers will be seniors graduating with a bachelor's degree. They will read their own creative works.

Reading will be Lynn Casteel of Jackson, Mo.; Leon Cluck of Manchester, Mo.; Rebecca Brown-Gregory, Dustin Michael and Nikki Trokey, all of Cape Girardeau, Mandy Henley of Kelso, Mo.; Jon Lanman of Dupo, Ill.; and Jason Sander of Scott City, Mo. This will be the last time that many of these students will perform a reading in this area.

The reading is open to the public and everyone is invited to come out and encourage the seniors and to wish them good luck in the future. The event will end at 9 p.m.
