Richard "Ric" Anello

Anello was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and pursued a major in marketing while minoring in psychology. In 1970, he received a bachelor of science in business administration degree from Southeast, followed by a master's degree from Northwestern University. He has been the recipient of nearly 400 major creative awards for a wide variety of commercials, including the well-known "Frogs" television advertising spot for Budweiser. Along with a successful career, he and his wife, Sally, have two children, Adam and Erin.

Dr. W. Gene Engelhardt

Engelhardt received a bachelor of science in education degree and was an active member of the Kappa Delta Pi fraternity. He went on to teach and later became principal and superintendent with Missouri public schools for 61 years. He served three terms and retired from the Lindbergh School District Board of Education as president in 2000. Since retirement, he has continued his leadership through Kiwanis community service and educating teachers at the university level. He and his wife Delba have four children: Mark, Anita, Jon and Diane.

John Hessel

After graduating cum laude from Southeast in 1974, Hessel attended St. Louis University School of Law and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class in 1977. One of his primary practice areas is in media and communications law through the representation of such companies as Fox Television, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, HBO, KMOX and the Reed Esevier Publishing Company. Hessel also serves as the city attorney for the cities of Kirkwood, Florissant and the Mehlville Fire Protection District. He is a member of the board of directors for Father Dunne's Newsboys' Home, which assists teenaged boys with shelter and guidance. He and his wife, Patricia, have three children: Mark, Laura and Katherine.

Jill M. Pizzotti

Pizzotti graduated cum laude from Southeast in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physical education. She received a Masters of Arts in secondary education administration and supervision in 1991. In 1989, she was named assistant women's basketball coach at Southeast Missouri State University. Currently, she serves as head coach of the Division I women's basketball at St. Louis University.

Marvin Rosengarten

Rosengarten graduated from Southeast in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. His first position after his degree was as assistant football coach and head track coach for Sikeston High School. From 1989 to 1992, he served as the director of Athletic Development at Southeast Missouri State University. Currently, he is involved with the Marquette High School in the Rockwood School District, working with both the football and track teams. In 2000, he was the recipient of the Rockwood School District's Rose Award for the most outstanding teacher in school. Rosengarten supervises F.A.S.T. (Flexibility, Agility and Speed Training) camps in the summer for high school and college athletes. He and his wife, Marlene, have two children: Mark and Gary.

Michael N. Stroot

Stroot is the owner and president of Technisonic Studios in St. Louis. Technisonic is an electronic production company specializing in television commercials, broadcast programming, corporate video and multimedia productions. He formerly was president of Innervision Studios and manager of the video services department at Busch Creative Services in St. Louis. After studying mass communications at Southeast, Stroot graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in mass communications. He and his wife, Joyce, have three children: Matt, Joe and Nick.

Joseph S. Torrisi

Torrisi received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Southeast in 1976. Since 1985, he has worked with the St. Louis Public School District at Shaw Visual and Performing Arts Community Education Center as the administrator of the Community Education program. He has been involved and supported many community fundraising projects, organized international cycling races, sports leagues, youth programs, park renovations, and has initiated many scholarship programs.
