What Were You Wearing Exhibit

Event Description:
Many survivors of sexual violence report experiencing victim-blaming behaviors by others such as asking, "What were you wearing"? This installation is a tangible response to one of the many pervasive rape myths perpetuated in our culture. We invite survivors to display the clothes they were wearing during their traumatic experience and share their story. What Were You Wearing will be exhibited through April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month. For more information contact Donna St. Sauver cvpp@semo.edu
