Gabi Schmidt, Creative Director for Schmidt Media Group, providing Print and Digital Media solutions, training and seminars in Visual Journalism for clients around the globe like US, Mexico, Dubai, India, Malaysia and more.
She has given seminars at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in Florida and regularly for SND (Society for News Design) including her last year’s conference in Frankfurt, Germany. Previously she coordinated Features and Special publications at the San Jose Mercury News in California and the Detroit Free Press. Gabi has won prestigious awards in her career, including SND’s World’s Best Designed Newspaper.
